You send us your treasured textile, and I carefully transform it into a one-of-a-kind Bumbag that carries its story into a new chapter. Every piece is individually designed and handcrafted by me, Iben Maria Fredsøe, in Lynæs, Denmark.

Send your treasured fabric to Velvetnoon together with a description of your wishes and ideas.

3 — I create your Bumbag
I design and handcraft your Bumbag, allowing the original textile to guide the design and preserving the details that make it special.

4 — Your story lives on
You receive a one-of-a-kind Velvetnoon Bumbag — ready to be worn, loved and carried for years to come.

THE LARGE BUMBAG

Our Personal Bumbag Large measures approximately 40 cm wide × 30 cm high, giving you plenty of room for everything you need throughout the day without feeling bulky.

It is designed to sit beautifully against the body and looks just as elegant when lightly filled as it does when carrying all your essentials.

MAKE IT TRULY YOURS

There is one more detail that makes your Personal Bumbag uniquely yours.

You can give it a name.

We will discreetly place the name of your choice inside the bag, together with the date it was created.

Perhaps your grandmother’s name, if the textile once belonged to her. Maybe a nickname for someone you love. A place, a memory, a private little joke.

The name is entirely yours to choose.

Which textiles work best for a Personal Bumbag Large?

Almost any textile can be transformed into a Velvetnoon Bumbag.

The key is knowing how to work with the material. If a textile is too delicate or lightweight, we can reinforce it appropriately — something we have extensive experience with.

Denim, tablecloths, curtains and workwear tend to create beautifully strong and durable Bumbags.

Lace, silk and delicate fabrics create a softer, more refined expression with an elegant and luxurious feel.

There is no single “right” textile. Sometimes the most unexpected fabrics create the most beautiful pieces.

Will my Bumbag really be completely unique?

Absolutely.

Your textile, your story and your design will never be replicated. Every Personal Bumbag is individually designed and handcrafted.

There will never be another one exactly like yours.

What should I name my Bumbag?

That's completely up to you.

You might choose your grandmother's name. A beloved nickname. The name of a special place. Or simply something that makes you smile.

There are no rules. Only your imagination.
